Cinematography, Color Grading (& Music Production)  are my creative playgrounds. I'm really into the storytelling side of filmmaking, so I lean towards feature films and series (but also like to work on musicvideos).

 

My approach to filmmaking is to create moods, atmospheres (& worlds) that people can engage with. So, I like to shape light & color in collaboration with the production design & wardrobe teams. I'm particularly hands-on with the color grading process, often taking a significant role or handling it entirely myself. I also love to experiment with special camera angles, movements, and exploring new filmtech (yep, I'm a bit of a nerd).

The first major production I shot & graded was the web series "Wishlist," which won crazy awards such as Deutscher Fernsehpreis, Grimme-Preis, and Webvideopreis. This paved the way for even larger projects, like "Schattenmoor" for ProSieben, "Almania" for ARD, and the recently released Amazon Prime Original "Trunk." Between these bigger projects, music videos and short films filled my portfolio, with "Among Us" standing out, having attracted over 11 million views on YouTube.
